The Old Skool was our first shoe model to showcase the famous Vans Sidestripe, although at the time it was just a random design made by founder Paul Van Doren. Since its debut in 1977, this low-profile silhouette has established itself as an icon in the world of skateboarding, music and fashion. From street skaters and the punks of the 90s to the current legends of hip hop and fashion, the Old Skool has always been the favorite shoe of the most enterprising creatives.
