Nike Basketball celebrates 11 years since the launch of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low “Moonwalker” by re-releasing this colorway in the fall of 2025. The Nike Kobe 9 “Moonwalker” (or “Hyper Grape”) colorway originally debuted in 2014. It pays homage to the King of Pop Michael Jackson, hence the name. The basketball shoes feature a full purple upper, a silver Nike Swoosh logo, and a black sole. The outsole features a moon-like texture (“Moonrock”), a nod to the artist’s famous “Moonwalk.” The 2025 edition features the same colorway as the 11-year-old.
