It's set to be a big throwback year for Nike Basketball and the KD IV "Weatherman" is at the eye of the storm. Inspired by NBA legend Kevin Durant’s early aspirations to become a TV weatherman, this revival of the OG 2011 iteration showcases lush green uppers combined with a volt black midfoot strap. The Phylon midsole features innovative Nike Zoom Air technology at the toe for enhanced speed and cushioning, with a heat map impression of KD’s own footprint on the sole. At the heel, vibrant reds, oranges and yellows are reminiscent of a stormy meteorological map, contoured with topographical lines and completed with a striking warning at the left insole – “The forecast calls for a thunderstorm”.
